Our Services
Screenings
We strive to normalize the conversation within our first responder’s communities, train them to recognize mental health crisis warning signs amongst their own and create awareness of the direct correlation between sustained occupational exposure to trauma and the alarming rates of suicide within this population of public servants.
If your organization is interested in hosting a documentary screening and/or training session, please contact Maya Kaufman with the link below.
Programs
Our project includes a comprehensive, 1-year training program that is developed and administered by first responders, for first responders with a goal of reducing the stigma of mental health within this community, while providing accessible resources and self-help tools to combat past, current, and future traumas.
The First Responder Resilience Project is built to start and continue the conversation of mental health within the first responder community.
resources
The First Responder Resilience Project is committed to connecting first responders with essential mental health resources. We work closely with organizations and mental health professionals who specialize in addressing the unique needs of first responders.
Our mission is to ensure that those on the frontlines have easy access to confidential counseling services, peer support networks, and therapy options provided by trusted organizations who understand the challenges these men and women face in their roles.
